《Happy new year》歌手：ABBA
上海东方卫视最近常放的一首歌曲
这个被誉为"瑞典国宝"的四人团体，由两对夫妇组成，两位先生负责词曲、乐器，太太则专职演唱，团名ABBA是取四位成员姓名的第一个英文字母组合而成。当他们成名後，唱片从欧洲席卷至美国、全世界，为瑞典赚进了无数外汇，不输Volvo、Saab汽车，推出这首歌的时候是1980年，正是该团的全盛时期，一年後，他们推出最後一张专辑，并宣告解散，留下许许多多悦耳流畅、和声优美的流行名曲。
歌词中出现的brave new world，乃取自赫胥黎着名的科幻小说书名，台湾翻译为"美丽新世界"。
